Bibliographic Code Abbreviations

Abbreviations for the journals and conference proceedings contained in the ADS Abstract Service have been divided into several lists: 

All Journals      (including Observatory Bulletins and Circulars)
All Conferences   (including NASA Reports and Books)
Refereed Journals
Non-Refereed Publications
Please note that inclusion in the abbreviation list does not mean that we have complete bibliographic coverage for that publication. We often index articles from journals in other disciplines such as mathematics or biology that reference or cite our core journal subjects of astronomy and astrophysics.
