Abstract

The `Action Spécifique' Gaia (AS Gaia) has been created by the French National Institute for the Sciences of the Universe with the aim of enhancing the scientific return from the European Space Agency (ESA) Gaia mission, due to be launched during Spring 2012. The various actions taken during the last two years are presented here.
