Abstract

The first results of the radio continuum survey of the galactic plane at 11 cm undertaken since 1979 at the Stockert telescope are presented in the form of maps of the radio continuum intensity. The observations, calibration, and data reduction are described, and the maps are discussed. The sensitivity is found to be sufficient for comparative studies with surveys at lower frequencies to proceed.
